Dec 1987 – Feb 1989 worked as an Architect in TEAM-2 Architects and Consulting Engineers at Bangalore.
Marc 1989 – March 1991 worked as a Freelance Architect for Architectural and Engineering Consultants Secunderabad.
Since 1991 practicing as a Consulting Architect.
Background
The promoter of the firm started off in the year 1987 with Team-2 Architects and Consulting Engineers at Bangalore and went independent in 1991. In a career spanning over two decades, he has designed and executed numerous projects in buildings, complexes, ethnic sites. He has avid interest in heritage structures and has been pursuing ancient architecture all over the country.
In the year 2002-03, the Collector of Khammam district in Andhra Pradesh wanted to develop “Taruni Haat” on lines of Delhi Haat, he reposed faith in capabilities of Vijay Kumar and entrusted the design and execution of the project. The project was grounded in record time of six months using locally available material, a rare feat.
